Osuna PE Introduction

We are off to a great start here at Osuna and I am excited to showcase all of the great things that are taking place during Physical Education on our website. We have a similar schedule to last years with every class receiving at least one 45 minute PE a week. For one entire trimester your son or daughter will receive two 45 minute PE’s a week. Please check with your child and make note of what days they will have PE.

Students will be able to participate fully in all our activities when they are dressed appropriately. This means they are wearing athletic clothes and closed toed shoes on PE day. Shoes that fit tighter always seem to work better; inadequate dress may increase the risk of accidents and may even cause your child to have to sit out. Please, no sandals or large soled shoes on PE day.

If at any time your child is unable to participate in PE because of sickness or injury, please send me a note. If a long term illness occurs or there is an existing medical problem, please send a doctor's note to excuse your child from PE activities.

As always, safety is of utmost importance during PE. Each child will be expected to follow directions and work with others in the safest, most cooperative ways possible.

I look forward to a wonderful year with all of our students and I am excited to watch our students interact and grow as people. Please do not hesitate to contact me via email or by phone if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for all your continued support and involvement in your child's education, you make Osuna a great place to be!
